In response to finding low-cost therapy,
Many therapists offer sliding-scale for people who need it. Also, ask about intern therapists — they can be one half to one quarter the cost of a licensed therapist. Some times it takes 5 or 6 calls to find someone that is affordable, just keep trying, it is worth it.
