In your answer to the question about GHB and ecstasy on 10/17/97, is there a reason you omitted the fact that GHB is the date rape drug of choice? You mentioned that it has a sedating effect on the body, but not that it can happen anywhere. People can and have slipped this drug into people's drinks to knock them out and then rape them. At least warn the person of the severe penalties for not using the drug judiciously or with someone you trust and who is willing to carry you home from a club if you black out. GHB is a serious problem. Please warn people about this particular danger of GHB. Thank you.

Sorry to keep emailing you criticism but...
I know of many GHB users. I would recommend you tell folks to put GHB into a black or dark plastic cup for one minute ? then pour the liquid out into a clear glass. (It turns black or blue.) This is because it is made with solvents... I have watched it being made and I was horrified that human beings actually consume this potion!

You were far too gracious with your answer. What passes as GHB is most likely found under one's sink at home in one form or another...
